Richard (Dick) J Burch joined MAP in December 2017. Dick’s early experience in irrigation and domestic well drilling, to include both turbine and submersible pump applications, serves as the baseline of his experience in water distribution management. His experience in developing leaders, managing training, and sustaining operations is derived from his nearly 38 years of military experience. He brings a background in organizational leadership development, logistics sustainment and management, and extensive experience in operational planning, resourcing, and execution.
Dick believes in the lifelong learning philosophy, and shares his knowledge/experience for the betterment of those he serves. Dick has completed bachelor’s level studies in Project Management, and has completed multiple courses at the Joint Force Staff College in Washington D.C. His education and experience provide him a sound understanding of the challenges faced at local, state, and national levels. He is dedicated to providing the technical and managerial assistance needed for small communities to succeed in developing and maintaining financially sustainable infrastructure.
