Tim Renken

Tim Renken is a Technical Assistance Provider for Iowa, Nebraska, Minnesota and South Dakota. Tim adds to MAP's team with years of experience being a Water and Wastewater Superintendent for Alcester, South Dakota. While there, Tim ran a mechanical wastewater plant and the city's water system.  In 2011, Tim received an award for South Dakota Water and Wastewater Operator of the Year.

Tim is very aware of and sensitive to the needs and obligations that operators face on a daily basis. Tim is an excellent problem solver and ready for the challenges that occur. Tim possesses an Associate Degree in Animal Science and Ag Business from the Northeast Community College in Norfolk, Nebraska. Tim is married and has four children. He and his family also run a small livestock and hay farming operation on the South Dakota and Iowa border.
