Water Treatment - (Advanced Operator Training)

A workshop designed for experienced operators, this class presents in-depth instruction on chemical injection of disinfectants, coagulants, filtration aides and sequestering agents. All facets of conventional treatment are presented including pre-sedimentation, clarification and filtration. Analyzing media depth, condition, techniques for proper backwashing as well as overall process efficiencies are stressed. Classroom presentations, activities and videos will be used to challenge attendees to move beyond what "has always been done" in their facilities.
