Brett Brehm


​Brett Brehm joined Midwest Assistance Program, Inc. as a Project Manager/ Technical Assistance Provider in 2021. He has 15 years’ experience in tribal and community water and wastewater treatment.  Brett has helped communities throughout the years with small to large construction projects, from inception to completion while coordinating with engineers, administration, the public, and regulatory agencies.  
Brett worked for the city of Waubun for 12 years and the city of Ogema for 8 years as the Water-Wastewater Operations Specialist. During this time, he oversaw all aspects of the municipality infrastructure.  Brehm’s professional certifications include Minnesota Department of Health Class C Water Operator Certification and Minnesota Pollution Control Agency Class D Wastewater Certification. Brett has also been previously certified by the National Association of Sewer Service Companies (NASSCO) for the Pipeline Assessment Certification Program (PACP), Lateral Assessment Certification Program (LACP), Manhole Assessment Certification Program (MACP), and Surface Sewage Treatment Systems (SSTS) through University of Minnesota.
