Brian joined Midwest Assistance Program in 2022, but his experience dates back 30 years. Brian first received his Distribution and Collections licenses in 1991 before transferring to the town’s 2MGD Water Treatment Plant. There he earned his Level 2 WTP license. In 1995, Brian began working for a large community’s 20MGD Water Treatment Plant, where he earned his level 3 and level 4 WTP licenses. He earned his AAS in Water Quality in 2004. He became the PW Director overseeing the Distribution, Collections, Parks, Streets, and Sanitation departments. In 2005, Brian picked up his first Contract Operations job in a very small system of only 40 taps. Since then, he’s picked up 7 other contracts while still working full-time in Public Works. In 2003, Brian was elected as a Board Member of the Wyoming Water Quality & Pollution Control Association. Brian was elected to his 4th two-year term as President of the WWQ&PCA in 2021.
Brian’s motto has always been “Find a job you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life.” Brian found that job working in Water and Wastewater systems. He hasn’t “worked” in over 30 years now and loved it so much that he went out and found 8 other part-time jobs just like it!!
