Denny is a professional engineer with over 30 years of water, wastewater, and solid waste experience providing engineering services and technical assistance to multiple tribal entities in Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. He has a wealth of knowledge in project development, project construction, and operations.
Denny proudly served his country as a Commissioned Officer in the United States Public Health Service working for the Indian Health Service for 30 years. He has collaborated with many federal, state, and tribal government agencies to implement plans to solve environmental or operational issues. He has provided training to operators who are pursuing certifications in water and wastewater as well as communicating with governing boards and tribal councils about the importance of their communities’ water, wastewater and solid waste infrastructure. He has a wealth of experience in working with communities to maintain compliance with EPA rules and regulations. Denny is excited to assist the many small, rural South Dakota communities, much like Parkston, SD where he grew up.
