Lisa Aune
Lisa Aune joined Midwest Assistance Program, Inc. MAP in 2024 and serves as the Programs Manager. She is responsible for assisting the Programs Director, the Internal Manager and the External Manager in proposal writing, program development, program implementation and reporting and policy development. She brings 23 years of experience in the public finance and government administration. Starting her bookkeeping career in 1996, Lisa has been responsible for maintaining a professional presence and has excelled her education through hands-on education. She has been helping rural communities since 2001 when taking a position as a City Auditor for a community of 900 citizens. This position led to becoming a City Auditor of over 4700 citizens, with responsibilities of managing a 3-million-dollar annual city budget. Lisa is eager to share her experience with rural communities, tribal governments, and partners within the MAP nine state region.
Lisa is an active community member serving as Vice President of the Dickinson Area Public Library. She serves as bookkeeper for the Dickinson Rural Fire Department and Taylor Park Board. Always willing to jump in and help wherever needed, Lisa loves living in rural North Dakota. She is currently continuing her education for accounting and business. |
