Monte Kerchal

Monte Kerchal joined MAP in November 2018 and brings with him two decades of experience in physical security, human resources, and organizational leadership. Before MAP, he served 33 years with the Army National Guard in many capacities. He has worked with several communities during state emergencies assisting with the following:  manpower, environmental compliance, safety, security, logistical, and water distribution. Monte is a Field Manager/Project Manager/Technical Assistance Provider for MAP in the state of Nebraska and is involved in facilitation and assistance in Technical, Managerial, and Financial areas and became water operator level 4 certified in 2020 and obtained his Solid Waste Management Certification in 2023. He is highly utilized in the field performing smoke testing for Inflow and Infiltration in publicly owned wastewater systems, GIS mapping of water and wastewater infrastructure, solid waste management and planning, water loss/non-revenue water identification, and USDA-RD, CDBG, and SRF loan application assistance.
