Running Effective and Legal Meetings

Originally designed for new board members and clerks we have found that even the most knowledgeable officials enjoy the materials presented during this workshop. This 4 hour class will review proper parliamentary procedure, rules of order, legal meeting requirements, how to take minutes and do's/don'ts of allowing discussion. Classroom materials include presentations and activities that will assist your community in running effective meetings. It is also suggested that attendees bring a copy of Robert's Rules of Order as study materials. The first step in running a great community is running legal and effective meetings.
