William Meyer
William Meyer joined Midwest Assistance Program, Inc. as a Project Manager/Technical Assistance Provider in 2023 and has over thirty years of civil, municipal, industrial, and environmental construction experience. Will began as a carpenter apprentice in the late 80's and worked his way up to Project Manager/Construction Estimator of a large regional contractor and also became owner of his own construction business. Will served as a superintendent of projects ranging from multimillion water/wastewater treatment plants to smaller projects involving a single lift station and collection system additions.
Will supervised workers and trained on workplace safety including confined spaces, trench safety, fall hazards, pipe testing, and other construction safety concerns. He provided other on the job training for crew members including equipment operation, pipe fitting, process pipe flushing, disinfection, and equipment installation. Will has also served as a water operator and board president for a small community in Washington. Will received his operator certification from the Washington State Department of Health Office of Drinking Water. |
